•   Manager, Information Technology – Springfield, MA

Position Description

We are seeking a full time IT Project Manager to join our Springfield, MA office.  This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, support and guidance for IT project teams.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyze, prioritize and implement client requests.
  • Create and Implement detailed project plans and timelines to deliver technology solutions.
  • Provide cost projections for client requests.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within agreed upon budgets.
  • Define and implement staffing plans, training plans.
  • Work with AVP and VP to manage IT resources (hardware and software).
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to facilitate professional development.

•   Developer – Springfield, MA

Position Description

This position directly contributes to the development and maintenance of applications to support our business needs. Responsibilities include participating in the evaluation of business requirements; preparing application system specifications; developing, testing and implementing application solutions; performing maintenance and support tasks on existing systems; developing and modifying Crystal reports; and writing technical documentation in support of assigned projects.

The ideal candidate will be an avid learner and will have the ability to work with limited supervision as well as within a team.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field;  one to three years’ software development experience; familiarity in developing object orient systems and design using Visual Basic 6.0, VB.Net, Visual Studio, ASP.Net, HTML, XML, SQL Server 2012 databases, SQL Server Management tools, Source Control and Crystal Reports. Knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) Web Services, Internet Information Server and Windows Services are also helpful. Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Insurance industry experience is preferred.


Business Analyst – Springfield, MA

Position Description 

We are seeking a full time Business Analyst to join our Springfield, MA office. This person will serve as a liaison between the IT development staff and the end user community.  This role is responsible for assisting in all phases of the system life cycle, including creating detailed business requirements from end user requests through updating functional specifications for the development staff.  In this role, the analyst assures quality through comprehensive documentation, support and testing.

Successful candidates will work individually and as part of a team, must be detail oriented and work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a cooperative, professional attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills

Position Requirements 

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Experience designing, developing and implementing solutions to meet business requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience as a business analyst or quality assurance engineer
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate effective communication, both orally and in writing
  • Excellent cognitive and recall ability as well as analytical skills are required

Claim Support Representative – Bi-lingual Spanish Preferred, Springfield, MA

Position Description

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic individual to support our Springfield, MA Claims Department. This full-time position is a great opportunity to begin your career with a well-established, dynamic company. Responsibilities include providing assistance and support to claims staff in managing new and ongoing disability insurance claims on behalf of client insurance companies.  The successful candidate will effectively communicate with management, policyholders, client companies, and legal and medical professionals regarding claims.

Position Requirements 

Qualifications include a high school degree (Associates Degree preferred) and a minimum of two years’ experience in an office environment. Qualified candidates must demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication, customer service, computer and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in math and English. Must also have the ability to multi-task, work independently, take direction and maintain confidentiality.  Insurance industry experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.  Bi-lingual Spanish is not required but is preferred.


•   Claim Representative – Springfield, MA

Position Description

We are seeking professional individuals to join our Springfield, MA Claim Department. These 40 hour per week positions are a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the evaluation and management of disability claims. Responsibilities include thorough investigation, adjudication and management of either group or individual disability income claims. A Claim Representative gains a comprehensive understanding of each claim by obtaining and examining the medical, occupational and financial elements of the claim.

Successful candidates will be able to work individually and as a team player, must be detail oriented and be able to maintain professionalism and courtesy in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a cooperative, professional attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Position Requirements 

Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Experience managing disability claims or other relevant insurance experience is a plus.
