Claim Representative {Springfield, MA}

Position Description

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic individual to join our Springfield, MA Claim Department. This 40 hour per week position is a great opportunity for an individual interested in pursuing a career in the evaluation and management of disability claims. Responsibilities include thorough investigation, adjudication and management of individual disability income claims. A Claim Representative gains a comprehensive understanding of each claim by obtaining and examining the medical, occupational and financial elements of the claim.

Successful candidates will be able to work individually and as a team player, must be detail oriented and work well in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a cooperative, professional attitude and effective interpersonal and communication skills.

Client Service Representative {Syracuse, NY}

Position Description

We are seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Syracuse, NY office to efficiently process client requests and administrative tasks for new and in-force business.

This particular position requires a bi-lingual speaker of English and French.

Extensive translation will be required on the job.

Responsibilities include: providing excellent customer service to our policyholders and producers; processing new business applications, which may require underwriter intervention; gathering requirements from various sources, including vendor sites, agency, and client home office for use in assessing application risk; creating and preparing policies for mailing and delivery to insured; providing support to internal customers and departments.

The ideal candidate will be an avid learner and will have the ability to work with limited supervision as well as within a team.

Position Requirements

Claim Representative – Major Medical

Position Description

We are seeking a claim professional to help administer Major Medical claims. Responsibilities include accurate review and processing of claims in accordance with the plan’s benefits, limitations, and exclusions. This position will also be required to manage claim correspondence, medical records, and respond to customer, client and provider inquiries in a timely manner.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience is required. Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and possess strong analytical skills.  Experience with processing health insurance claims, familiarity with HCFA’s, medical terminology, medical necessity, UCR assessments, proficiency using Excel, and a working knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes is preferred. Candidate must have excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills as well as the ability to multi-task.

In this role, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards is critical.
